BWW Review: THE MEMBER OF THE WEDDING at Williamstown Theatre Festival Takes Berkshire Audiences On An Unexpected Journey
The journey takes us to a small southern town, 1945. More precisely, to the kitchen and adjacent back yard of the Addams family on the eve of a wedding. The action plays out over a few days in late August and tells the story of 12-year-old tomboy Frankie. Frankie's mother died when she was born, and her father is distant. Her closest companions are the family's African American maid, Berenice Sadie Brown, and her six-year-old cousin, John Henry West. She is awkward, has no friends, and dreams of going away with her brother and his bride-to-be.
Shrunken Shakespeare Announces RICHARD II and New Board of Directors
Shrunken Shakespeare Company's Co-Founder and newly appointed Executive Director Yvonne Cone announced today that the well-known company is back after two and a half years with a brand new Board of Directors, and an all-new production. SSC's first production in this new outing as a not-for-profit will be William Shakespeare's Richard II, which will be the highlight of their 2018/2019 season. Dates and location will be announced at a later time.

Brewer joins new cast member Eli Gelb (The Squid and the Whale, Holy Rollers).

BWW Reviews: All-Star Roster Brings the Bard to Fenway Park
It was a winning night at Fenway Park for the Commonwealth Shakespeare Company and the hometown fans as they celebrated with an all-star roster for SHAKESPEARE AT FENWAY. The one-night event had comedy, tragedy, and some extra excitement (not unlike the Red Sox) for a great start to CSC's 20th anniversary season.

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director Jeremy Blocker have announced that due to rave reviews and strong ticket sales, Love and Information, written by Caryl Churchill and directed by James Macdonald, will extend for two weeks through Sunday, April 6 at the Minetta Lane Theatre, 18 Minetta Lane. Love and Information had been scheduled to run through Sunday, March 23, 2014. Love and Information is produced in association with London's Royal Court Theatre.

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) Artistic Director James C. Sanders and James Waterston, pianist Anthony De Mare, LAVA acrobatic dance and the singing ensemble The Lobbyists as well as members of The Bat Theater Company, the resident artists of The Flea in a preview performance of The Mysteries.
