San Francisco Singer Linda Kosut Comes To Palm Desert  ImageBay Area performing artist, Linda Kosut, will bring her show, "Swingin' And Singin' The 70's" to the desert on Sunday, February 11th for one show only at 2:00 PM, featuring Dave Austin on piano, Danny Flahive on bass, at the Arthur Newman Theater located in the Joslyn Center, 73750 Catalina Way in Palm Desert. Tickets are $15 cash only at the box office that opens at 1:00 PM.

Linda Kosut is an award-winning cabaret influenced jazz singer, an original native New Yorker, who now resides in San Francisco. A graduate of City College of New York, she has recorded three albums on CD's, "Life Is But A Dream", "Long As You're Living" and her latest, "Easy Come, Easy Go". Linda's warm voice, enchanting and engaging style, and storytelling skills, lend well to her repertoire of Standards, done with her own fresh interpretations. She appears regularly in cabarets and jazz clubs including the Jazz Bakery in Los Angeles, Davenport's in Chicago, in San Francisco at Feinstein's at the Nikko Hotel, Yoshi's, Society Cabaret at Hotel Rex, Empire Plush Room, The Purple Onion, Octavia Lounge, and the Rrazz Room, at Egan's in Seattle, and New York City at The Metropolitan Room, The Triad, and Don't Tell Mama. Her new show, "Swingin' And Singin' The 70's", will be Linda's debut in the desert and will include SF musical director Dave Austin on piano and local bass player, Danny Flahive.
