The McCallum Theatre presents Rob Lowe in Stories I Only Tell My Friends: LIVE! on Friday, March 29, at 8:00pm. Following his sold-out debut, Rob Lowe is taking his one man show, Stories I Only Tell My Friends: LIVE!, on a national tour. Inspired by the success of his two New York Times best-selling memoirs, Stories I Only Tell My Friends and Love Life, Rob has created an all-new peek behind the curtain at Hollywood, fame, fatherhood, marriage, and a life lived at the forefront of culture for four decades. From the Brat Pack to "The West Wing," to "Parks and Recreation" and beyond, Stories I Only Tell My Friends: LIVE! is packed with witty fun and insights spanning an iconic career.

Rob Lowe has become one of Hollywood's most highly acclaimed triple threats - actor, author and producer. Born in Charlottesville, Virginia, and raised in Dayton, Ohio, Rob began his acting career in local television and theater at the age of eight. After his family relocated to Los Angeles, he began his national acting career starring in the ABC television series "A New Kind of Family." Today, Rob's charismatic talent and palpable success have radiated far beyond the realm of television.

Rob is currently shooting the second season of the CBS medical drama "Code Black"where he plays Col. Ethan Willis, a doctor in the U.S. military's prestigious combat casualty care research program. He will be seen this summer on the A&E unscripted series "The Lowe Files." The nine-episode series follows Rob and his two sons, Matthew and John Owen, as they travel the country exploring infamous unsolved mysteries. He recently wrapped production in Boston onSuper Troopers 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2001 cult classic where he will play Guy Le Franc, a former hockey player and the current mayor of a Quebec Canadian border town.

Rob rose to fame in 1983, with starring roles in movies such as The Outsiders, Oxford Blues, About Last Night, Bad Influence, St. Elmo's Fire, Wayne's World, Tommy Boy, and Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me.

From 1999-2003, Rob starred as Sam Seaborn on hit NBC drama "The West Wing." His performance in the show garnered him an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama series, as well as two Golden Globe nominations for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series. "The West Wing" cast was nominated three times by the Screen Actors Guild for an Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series award, and won twice. In 2016, Rob received a Best Actor Golden Globe nomination for FOX's "The Grinder."

In 2010, Rob joined the cast of NBC's "Parks and Recreation," after previously starring in the ABC-TV hit series "Brothers & Sisters" from 2007-2010. In 2009, Rob also starred opposite Ricky Gervais, Jennifer Garner, and Tina Fey in the Warner Bros. film The Invention of Lying.

Rob released his memoir, Stories I Only Tell My Friends,in 2011. The book was an instant hit, spending consecutive weeks in the top four of The New York Times best sellers list and making it onto GQ's "Best of 2011" book list. His second book, Love Life,was published in 2014 and also landed a spot on the New York Times best seller list.

Rob received critical acclaim and a leading actor nomination from the Screen Actors Guild for his starring role in National Geographic Channel's "Killing Kennedy," which also garnered an Emmy nomination in 2013. He received a Golden Globe nomination for his co-starring role in the 15-time Emmy nominated HBO film Behind the Candelabra, playing the role of Dr. Jack Startz. The film was directed by Steven Soderbergh and produced by Jerry Weintraub.

Rob Lowe's legacy in Hollywood was cemented in 2015 with the unveiling of his Walk of Fame star.
