Previews: Broadway's Alan H. Green To Take The Stage For To Coachella Valley Repertory's Summer Cabaret Series  ImageCoachella Valley Repertory will present the charismatic, award-winning Alan H. Green as the second artist in CVRep's 2023 Summer Cabaret Series on Thursday, May 11 at 7 p.m. Green has appeared in Broadway productions of Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, School of Rock, Sister Act and Play On!

His numerous Off-Broadway credits include Broadway Bounty Hunter and Happiness at Lincoln Center, and has been featured in numerous regional theatre productions across the country, among them, Griswold's Broadway Vacation (5th Ave.,Seattle), The Karate Kid (Stages, St Louis), A.D.16 (Olney Theater, Maryland). On television, he has appeared in episodes of "Almost Family," "Unforgettable," "Murphy Brown," "30 Rock," "Peter Pan Live!" and "Law & Order SUV." Green has been honored with BroadwayWorld's Best Performer, Streamed Musical and a prestigious Berkie Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Musical. In addition to his stage and television work, Green has performed at the White House, the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem, Radio City Music Hall, in concerts across the country and in churches and religious events around the world.

Green's life is almost the model, all-American story. Born in Pittsburgh but raised in Texas, he excelled in academics and sports. He was one of the top young debaters in the country, played string bass in the Texas All State Orchestra, was student council president and homecoming king, and graduated second in his class. At the same time, he was captain of his high school football team and a Blue Chip All American running back.

Green attended Rice University on a football scholarship. He started as pre-law, but graduated from Rice's Shepherd School of Music with a B.A. in Vocal Performance. Which lead him to performing on a cruise ship that took him to New York city. After living there for only three months, Green landed his first role on Broadway.

Box office hours are Monday-Friday from noon to 5:00 p.m. and two hours prior to performances. In order to better serve audiences, patrons requesting accessibility assistance are encouraged to contact the box office at least 24 hours prior to their ticketed performance.
