Ottawa Shakespeare Company to Present JULIUS CAESAR at Centrepointe, 4/18

The Ottawa Shakespeare Company will present JULIUS CAESAR at Centrepointe Studio Theatre from April 18th-April 28th directed by Charles McFarland.

The Ottawa Shakespeare Company is presenting a vibrant and raucous staging that blurs the lines between audience and actors. Audiences will enter a provocative world of what ifs – just as Shakespeare did for the play’s first audiences. What if an attempt was made on the life of a world leader? Can a political assassination ever be justified for The Common good? Can we “Do evil that good may come?” What are the consequences for all of us in a globalized world?

There are two ticketing options for this production of JULIUS CAESAR. Option #1 is an opportunity for audiences to submit a bid on ipricedit.com to participate as one of an exclusive number of people who will join the actors in the crowd scenes of the play. For the adventurous only, this is for people who would like to participate directly in the action of the play. Participants do not have reserved seats and must arrive early for a briefing with the actors. Be prepared to move around the theatre! This option is not recommended for anyone with mobility issues.

Option #2 is perfect for people who enjoy a more traditional theatre experience. Reserve early for a memorable show in the comfort of your seats.
