'33 (A KABARETT), written and performed by Bremner Duthie and directed by Dave Dawson, is set for The Gladstone from February 22nd through March 10th.

’33 is a cabaret of ghosts - a performance piece recreating the final night in a Kabarett destroyed by the Nazis in Berlin in 1933. A Master of Ceremonies pays homage to his disappeared friends. ’33connects that period of repression with attacks on culture happening around the world. It debuted in May of this year at the Orlando Fringe Festival and has been performed at festivals across the country.

'33 has already received critical acclaim: it won a Fabulous Award at the Orlando Festival 2011, Best Show-Impresario Award at the London Fringe Theatre Festival 2011 and Best Actor in Festival at the London Fringe Theatre Festival.
