Haines City Theatre presents the Tony Award-winning musical, The Drowsy Chaperone, starting September 6th. The story revolves around a middle-aged musical theater lover who brings his favorite record to life, showcasing a fictional 1928 musical filled with humor and romance. Dan Martin takes on the role of the narrator, guiding the audience through the antics of an eclectic cast, including Lauren Cantor and Michael DeWolf II as lovers on the brink of marriage, and Staci Morin as the hilariously tipsy chaperone. Directed by Amy Goudie, this production promises a lively blend of mischief and musical magic.
