Chaos erupts in a small town after the unexpected and scandalous death of an upstanding, Christian woman. The three dysfunctional generations of the woman’s surviving family collide as they come together for her funeral. They will have to face the trashy truth as the family’s skeletons, and more, are torn out of the closet. Written by Del Shores, this dark comedy is set deep, deep in the heart of Texas. The ensemble cast hilariously explores the sordid, chicken-fried lives of trailer trash, served up with a generous helping of Tammy Wynette, wood paneling, and above all, unconditional love.
