Control at ME Theatre

Join the Dance Theatre of Orlando July 16, 17, and 18 for three separate evenings of a full length, immersive dance experience. Set in a future dystopia, a group of individuals set out to find control after living in a chaotic, post-apocalyptic world.Control will be presented at the ME Theatre, the only theatre space in Central Florida to work in tandem with a dance school. The ME Theatre is a full-service performance venue that seats 130 audience members. Masks are recommended to be worn at all times by audience members. The dynamic choreography of Control is supplemented by a projected film and stellar lighting that tells the story of the crew aboard Mission 001. This performance is appropriate for all ages: children will feel as though theyre traveling through space, and adults will appreciate a fully-immersive performance. The Dance Theatre of Orlando is supported by ME Dance, Inc., a 501c3 charity with the goal of supporting the professional dancers of the company and expanding dance and the arts to the Central Florida community. Control will be a 1.5 hour event featuring all company members of the Dance Theatre of Orlando.Performances of Control will be held at 7:30 p.m. on July 16, 17, and 18 at the ME Theatre located at 1300 La Quinta Drive.
