A new mind blowing high energy stage musical all about hot street dancing and battles will be casting a workshop in Orlando, FL for the titled production 'BUMP IT!' Book, Music and Lyrics written by Christopher D. Robinson also known for Directing the Fan Made film project ('Bring It On: A Tribute to Broadway').

Robinson was inspired to writing his own show a little over two years ago after watching the Documentary of Lin-Manuel Miranda's 'In the Heights': Chasing Broadway Dreams' that premiered on PBS Great Performances May 27th, 2009. The work of Miranda and Alex Lacamoire has always been an inspiration to Robinson, thus his vision of presenting his own original story through music, lyrics and dance was born.

The music in 'Bump It' are a fuse of the 1990's hip hop sound and today's r&b music style. Outside of the show's main focus being street dance, the story line also touches on small situations with other characters-creating one beautiful production. Robinson stated "I want the musical arrangements in this show to melt the faces off the audience as well as give everyone that feel good sound that many have been longing to hear again and lyrics that have a message still making you want to bob your head to it, which is what you hardly hear in some of today's music. Lin-Manuel Miranda is a great role model and I truly value everything he's done . We need people like that in this industry to inspire others such as myself to create and inspire others through music, lyrics, dance, acting etc. this is why artists do what they do."

The production's fist start is a one month workshop followed up by an official full premiere production in the year 2017. The creative team will be officially announced as well as casting call information this summer of 2015.
