Winter Park Playhouse Provides Sinfully Big Laughs With NUNSENSE Image

The Winter Park Playhouse roars into the Spring with laugher for everyone, as it presents the ever-popular musical comedy Nunsense A-Men! March 16 through April 21, 2018. Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m., Thursday and Saturday matinee performances at 2p.m. and and select Friday andSunday matinees at 2p.m.

Based on the original Off-Broadway production Nunsense, this musical comedy, Nunsense A-Men!, is one version of the commercially popular series of musicals written by Dan Goggin, about The Little Sisters of Hoboken. This show adds a hysterically funny twist - all of the nuns are played by men! The nuns, in their attempts to raise money to bury their fellow sisters who perished due to a bad dinner of vichyssoise, create hilarity and chaos in their attempts to perform a fundraiser while adhering to the rules of convent life.

The professional cast of actors includes five very talented and funny men - David Michael Green as Mother Superior, Victor Souffrant as Sister Mary Hubert, Shawn Kilgore as Sister Robert Anne, Michael Scott Ross as Sister Mary Amnesia, and Ryan Corridoni as the novitiate Sister Mary Leo.

Playhouse Artistic Director Roy Alan will direct and Playhouse Musical Director Christopher Leavy will music direct the production. Professional musical accompaniment includes the Playhouse trio - Mr.Leavy on piano, Ned Wilkinson on multiple instruments and Sam Forrest on percussion.

The New York Times states " The 'Nunsense' shows have made millions laugh ... they have raised the human spirit!"

Nunsense A-Men! continues to bring its audiences to tears of laughter! Don't miss this professional production from The Winter Park Playhouse this Spring. A guaranteed great show for all!

Ticket prices are $42 evenings, $39 senior evenings, $32 matinees, $20 previews, $15 student and theatrical industry professionals. Student rush "$10@10" offers $10 tickets (for students 25 years and younger) 10 minutes prior to a performance when seats are available.
