During last year's FAIRWINDS Broadway in Orlando season announcement event at Dr. Phillips Center, celebrated nationally known, locally-based artist Rock Demarco created a piece of art referential of the Wicked brand.

That painting is being raffled off with all proceeds to benefit the Dr. Phillips Center Florida Hospital School of the Arts Scholarship Fund. The raffle has coincided with the full run of the Orlando engagement of "Broadway's biggest blockbuster," Wicked, at the arts center.

While Wicked ends its current Orlando run Sunday, January 29, the auction will remain active through Thursday, February 2, 2017. The winner will be announced Friday, February 3, 2017. Entrants need not be present to win.

Entries will be taken at the arts center box office at 445 S. Magnolia Street, over the phone at 844.513.2014, as well as online at drphillipscenter.org.

Rock Demarco has performed his live painting show on stage for over 15 years. Between travel, he creates custom studio commissions of pop icons and large abstracts. His work is collected around the globe by corporations, ball players, movie stars and licensed images can be found on cell phone covers, canvas prints and more. Rock's social media following has recently surpassed the 250,000 quarter million fan mark.

Rock has appeared on all the major TV networks including his appearance on "Good Morning America." He has performed at Superbowl, Nascar, concerts with KISS, Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and more.

"Paint like a ROCKstar" is the name of Rock's foundation that provides art therapy to children in hospitals across the country. His current focus is the partnership with 'Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children' in Orlando Florida. Rock's paintings on phone covers now available world-wide. Shopping Google?
