University of Central Florida Opera to present OPERA SCENES 2017: AMERICAN OPERA

The University of Central Florida (UCF) Opera will present its Fall Semester Workshop Scenes Program on Friday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 12 at 2 p.m., where a variety of scenes from different operas will be performed in English, accompanied by supertitles.

All scenes performed will be from operas by American composers, including Carlisle Floyd, Aaron Copland and Giancarlo Menotti.

The Visual Arts Building is located behind the School of Performing Arts, at the intersection of Alafaya Trail and Centaurus Boulevard. Free parking is available behind the School of Performing Arts building.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.music.ucf.edu or by calling the box office at 407-823-1500.

General admission is $15, senior (over 55) tickets are $10, and tickets for individuals under 18 are $5. Admission is free for students with a valid UCF ID.
