The Winter Park Playhouse Produces Popular Patriotic Musical ALL HANDS ON DECK!

The Winter Park Playhouse opens its new series of professional musicals with a Central Florida Premiere salute to 1942 wartime entertainment in the popular patriotic production of All Hands On Deck! September 16- October 9.

Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m., Thursday and Saturday matinees at 2 p.m. and selec Wednesday, Friday and Sunday matinees at 2p.m. Specially priced performances include "Third Thursday" on September 29 at 7:30p.m.(matinee price for an evening performance) and previews on Thursday evening September 15 at 7:30 p.m. and Friday matinee at2p.m. September 16. ?

Step back into 1942 and enjoy this All-American musical with its timeless tunes, tight harmonies, and the on-air antics and rousing comedy of a wartime road show or radio broadcast! All Hands On Deck! is a popular musical revue that boasts over 40 classic Big Band hits in their original arrangements, all packaged in a fun-filled, true-to-life reproduction of the type of show Bob Hope and Jack Benny would have taken to the troops.

This all singing, all dancing, musical delivers classic songs including Chattanooga Choo-Choo, On the Atchison, Topeka and the Santa Fe, I'm In The Mood For Love, Pennsylvania Polka, I'll Never Smile Again, Don't Fence Me In, Thanks For The Memory, a powerful Military Medley and many more!

The professional cast includes Rebecca Jo Cross, Kayla Kelsay Morales, Todd S. Mummert, and Josh Roth. The production is directed and choreographed by Playhouse Artistic Director Roy Alan, and Music Directed by Christopher Leavy. The Playhouse band brings this classic music to life and includes Mr. Leavy on the piano, Ned Wilkinson on multiple instruments, Rick Richolson on bass, and Sam Forrest on percussion.

This Winter Park Playhouse production of All Hands On Deck! is sponsored by AAFMAA, specializing in investments, planning, and trust services for the military community.

Ticket prices are $40 evenings, $36 senior evenings, $30 matinees, $30 "Third Thursday" evening, $20 preview, $15 student and theatrical industry professionals. Student rush "$10@10" offers $10 tickets (for students 25 years and younger) 10 minutes prior to a performance when seats are available.
