Written by Pulitzer Prize-winner Donald Margulies, Time Stands Still is about transition, relationships, and contemporary social debate. The play revolves around Sarah Goodwin, a photo journalist who has come home from chronicling the Iraq War to recuperate after suffering injuries from a roadside bomb, and her reporter boyfriend James, who is riddled with guilt over leaving Sarah alone there. They receive a visit from their friend and editor Richard, who brings along his much younger girlfriend, Mandy. Time Stands Still focuses on the burgeoning and intimate relationships amongst these characters, particularly Sarah and James, who now find themselves with the opportunity of a more conventional life.
