Queen Latifah Comes to the Van Wezel, 3/30

Hailed as an entertainment "Jack of all trades," Grammy Award winner, Queen Latifah has broken ground across multiple genres and mediums, while also playing an intricate part behind the camera, not just in front of it.

She will appear at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall on March 30, 2013 to perform selections from her vast catalogue of music which has spanned over two decades and consistently hit multi-Platinum status. Her talents have also awarded her a number of prestigious accolades. Some of these include Grammy nominations for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album (2008), Best Jazz Vocal Album (2005), and Grammy Award win for Best Solo Rap Album (1994), as well as Equally as talented an actress, Queen Latifah was nominated for an Oscar for her performance in Chicago (2002).

Additionally, she starred in and executive produced the TV movie called Life Support, which earned her an Emmy Nomination, as well as a Golden Globe win and SAG win. Musician, actress, producer, author; is there anything Queen Latifah cannot do?
