Last night Pseudonym Productions celebrated the grand opening of WHEN SHADOWS FALL, the groundbreaking new first-person experience that has Orlando buzzing with excitement.

With a packed house filled with players alongside reporters from across Orlando, WHEN SHADOWS FALL made its official debut in a grand fashion, showcasing what happens when the worlds of live theater and gaming are mashed up into an indescribably original experience.

First-timers and repeat players alike stepped into the sordid society of Penumbra as new "citizens," with every decision and action they took changing the entire story and resulting in a compelling grand finale. The cast, crew, and all in attendance then gathered for a group photo to mark the momentous occasion!

Players praised the opening night of WHEN SHADOWS FALL as "an entirely different way to enjoy theater" that is "clever and entertaining" and a "once in a lifetime experience that I would 110% do again."

With 14 different roles to take on, WHEN SHADOWS FALL offers maximum re-playability as it is never the same experience twice.

Tickets are now available for WHEN SHADOWS FALL through September 10th, with a variety of dates and times on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. A new VIP lounge has also been added to the experience, with a reduced VIP ticket price as low as $88. Standard tickets start as low as $49 with industry and education discounts available.

Pseudonym Productions hijacks traditional theater to engage with the audience, drawing them into the performance - bending, shaping, and actively participating in an elaborate narrative unfolding around them.

Pseudonym's interactive experiences, dubbed Living Stories™, are like an open world video game - in real life. The audience explores and interacts with a fully responsive environment, controlling the flow and direction of the performance while simultaneously being guided and entertained by professional actors. The resulting experience becomes a true collaboration between its creators, actors, and Players.

Pseudonym calls their Audience members "Players," as they aren't just passively observing a performance but actively engaging with the world around them - quite literally "playing" the performance like a video game. Their actions and choices change how people react to them and how the story unfolds.

Pseudonym's productions don't tell just a single story, but many individual stories that are meant to be first person experiences for each Player. All of these stories intertwine and overlap, while also branching depending on Players' decisions.
