Central Florida Community Arts is proud to announce the full cast of South Pacific, directed by Donald Rupe. South Pacific will be the first fully staged production we have produced at our home at 250 SW Ivanhoe Blvd in Downtown Orlando. Guests can expect a fully-staged, fully choreographed, intimate theatrical experience. Seating is limited to 115 seats per performance where patrons will be close witnesses to the Rodger's and Hammerstein's classic. Scroll down for a sneak peek at the cast!
As starry-eyed Ensign Nellie Forbush, Ali Thibodeau falls hopelessly in love with the "Some Enchanted Evening" singing Emile de Becque, played by David Lowe. Mr. Lowe is joined onstage by his real-life children, Max and Marley Lowe (twins!) who play Jerome and Ngana. Daniel Longacre is the handsome hero Lt. Joseph Cable, and actress Monica Rae Andrews beckons Cable to the mysterious Bali Ha'I in her performance as Bloody Mary. Adam Delmedico and Melina Kay round out our leading characters as Luther Billis and Liat. Michael Thibodeau (our Nellie's real-life brother) joins us as the "Professor," and Blake Aburn is the show's Stewpot.
The large ensemble in this production of South Pacific truly brings the classic to life, and features many gentleman: Prall Bird, Tad Branham, Felipe Caita, Chad Cartledge, Tyler Counts, Fabian de la Espriella, Mark Kelly, Joey Mayberry, Alan Natochy, Quentin Prior, Sean Sida, and Aaron Sherry. The female ensemble includes: Kaileigh Anne Buckley, Cheryl Bynum, Melanie Galiardo, Joy Gorrell, Rockie Kobrin, Shannon Lynn McPadden, Jessalyn Rae, Tracey Smith, and Rallia Westrick.
Central Florida Community Arts is excited to bring these and more offerings to the Orlando Theatre Community. Donald Rupe is also directing a musical titled "Once I Laughed" for the Orlando Fringe Festival in May, and auditions are coming up for our summer production, Guys and Dolls.
