Photo Flash: First Look at WINTER WONDERETTES at WP Playhouse

The Winter Park Playhouse decks the halls with holiday fun for the whole family in their professional production of Winter Wonderettes featuring a score of seasonal classic favorites! The production runs November 16 through December 16 , 2018. Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m., Thursday and Saturday matinee performances at 2 p.m. and select Friday and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.

Winter Wonderettes, written and created by Roger Bean, is a follow up to the writer's original musical, The Marvelous Wonderettes. In this highly entertaining sequel, Santa goes missing and the zany four -girl singing group uses their charm, talent and ingenuity to save the day featuring a score of hummable holiday tunes like "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town,""Jingle Bell Rock," "Winter Wonderland" and more!

The professional cast includes Caitlin Doak, Lindsay Nantz and Kate Zaloumes reviving their characters from the 2015 Winter Park Playhouse original production of The Marvelous Wonderettes. Lea Marinelli, last seen in The Playhouse production Babes In Hollywood, joins the Winter Wonderettes cast to complete the highly entertaining foursome.

Playhouse Artistic Director Roy Alan will direct and choreograph and resident Playhouse Music Director Christopher Leavy will music direct. The Playhouse trio will accompany the production with Christopher Leavy on piano, Sam Forrest on percussion, Ned Wilkinson on multiple instruments.

Ticket prices are $42 evenings, $39 senior evenings, $32 matinees, $20 preview, $15 student and theatrical industry professionals. Student rush "$10@10" offers $10 tickets (for students 25 years and younger) 10 minutes prior to a performance when seats are available.
