Orlando Repertory Theatre (The REP) presents Rock The Presidents now through November 13, 2016, just in time for election season. Rock The Presidents is a high-octane musical revue spanning the entire history of the American presidency - from George Washington to Barack Obama, while looking ahead to the future! The men who rose to the highest office in the land are brought to life through all-new original songs in a variety of genres: rock, hip-hop, blues, pop, jazz, reggae, country, and more! Audiences young and old alike may learn something new about our Presidents, and perhaps see something of themselves reflected in the stories on stage.
The cast stars Whitney Abell, Adam Ignacio, and Fredy Ruiz. Rock The Presidents is directed by Jeffrey M. Revels with choreography by Spencer Morrow, musical direction my Megan Tsurumaki, scenic design by Brian Dudkiewicz, costume design by Marcy Singhaus, lighting design by Ryan Mueller, sound design by Anthony Narciso, props design by Tara Kromer, and stage management by Linda Romanello and assistant stage manager Stephanie Elliott.
Rock The Presidents is now playing Saturdays and Sundays from October 10 through November 13, 2016 at 2pm and 5:30pm. Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for students, seniors (55+), and members of the military with valid ID, and $14 for the youth (ages 3 to 17).
