Orlando Shakespeare Theater (Orlando Shakes) in Partnership with UCF presents Stuart Little. Based on the celebrated children's book by E.B. White, the family-friendly production will play from October 25 to November 18, 2016 in the Margeson Theater. Tickets ($9 - $18) can be purchased by calling (407) 447-1700 ext. 1, online at www.orlandoshakes.org, or in person at the John and Rita Lowndes Shakespeare Center (812 E. Rollins St.).

Stuart Little is an extraordinary mouse born into an ordinary New York City human family. Through a series of adventures-a boat race in Central Park, a drive in a gasoline-powered model car, and a chase to find his best friend-Stuart expertly navigates the challenges of being a small mouse in a big world.

"Stuart Little is a classic piece of children's literature that still holds a special place in the hearts of many families, including my own," said Stuart Little Director Melissa Mason Braillard. "We are thrilled to be able to introduce this wonderful production to our Central Florida community."

Stuart Little features Madelyn James as Stuart, Blain Edwards as Mr. Little/Hank, Maddie Tarbox as Mrs. Little/Ensemble, Eric Eichenlaub as Snowbell/Ensemble, Gabrielle Toledo as Margalo/Ensemble, and Mike Nilssonas George/Ensemble.

Following her Orlando Shakes directing debut last season with Elephant and Piggie's "We Are In A Play!", Melissa Mason Braillard returns as director of Stuart Little. Braillard has appeared in several Orlando Shakes productions including The Taming of the Shrew, A Little Night Music, Into the Woods, The Imaginary Invalid, and A Midsummer Night's Dream. Braillard currently serves as Director of Marketing Communications at Orlando Shakespeare Theater.

Additional members of the artistic team include Set Designer Kim Gromoll, Lighting Designer Colleen Doherty, Costume Designer Mel Barger, and Sound Designer Britt Sandusky.

Stuart Little is presented by Publix Super Markets Charities.

Orlando Shakespeare Theater is supported by United Arts of Central Florida. Orlando Shakespeare Theater is also sponsored in part by the Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs, the Florida Council on Arts and Culture, and the State of Florida.
