Orlando Shakespeare THeatre will soon present Sleeping Beauty, by BranDon Roberts and directed by Patrick Braillard. Princess Rose is celebrating her birthday with the entire kingdom until a bitter, wise woman named Wartsuch interrupts the festivities. She casts a wicked curse on the little princess, dooming her to a 100-year sleep. This updated retelling of a beloved fairytale comes complete with a cell phone, handsome prince, and a magical kiss!
The show runs June 20 - July 28, 2013, Tuesday through Friday at 10:30 a.m.; Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. & 4:30 p.m.
