Prince Gerwyn wants to marry the beautiful princess-but he'll have to get through her evil stepmother first. With her magical golden ball, the Step Queen casts a spell that turns Gerwyn into a slimy frog. Will Gerwyn and his Princess live hoppily ever after? "Families have fallen in love with Brandon Roberts' summer fairy tales," said Director of Education Anne Hering. "His colorful characters grab the attention of little ones and parents appreciate his smart humor. This season's offering will include puppets and a whole lot of magic!"
Casting for The Frog and the Princess includes Adam Reilly as Prince Gerwyn, Kristin Shirilla as Princess Calliope, Gemma Victoria Fearn as Step Queen Corvidae, and Terrence Yip as Henry the Porter. The Orlando Shakes creative team includes Director Patrick Braillard, Set Designer Kurt Bippert, Costume Designer Mel Barger, Puppet Designer Vandy Wood, Lighting Designer Colleen Doherty, and Sound Designer Britt Sandusky.
