Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF (Orlando Shakes) kicks off its 28th Season with Orlando Shakes actors and members of the creative teams at their annual Open House. The free family-friendly event includes creative demonstrations from the Theater's production staff, crafts and coloring for the little ones, story time with princesses, and a Q&A Panel with Orlando Shakes artists. Orlando Shakes staff members will also be throwing Pokémon GO Lure Modules (items featured in Pokémon Go, the popular iOS and Android app, that increases Pokémon spawn rates) every 30 minutes for the duration of the event.
Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase discounted tickets for all shows in Orlando Shakes 2016-2017 Season, plus the opportunity to win tickets to Stuart Little and Pinkalicious, The Musical, in a paid raffle.
Additional activities provided by Orlando Science Center, Fun4Orlando Kids, Mad Science of Central Florida, Orange County Library System, Orlando Fire Museum, Fun4Space Coast Kids, and the Enzian Theater.
The event will take place on Saturday, August 13, with ongoing activities from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at John and Rita Lowndes Shakespeare Center, 812 East Rollins Street, Orlando, FL 32803.
