"Seats for Elephant and Piggie have filled up faster than we originally expected," said Elephant and Piggie Director Melissa Mason Braillard. "We're adding this extra performance to our closing weekend to make sure more families get the chance to see some of their favorite fictional characters come to life on stage."

Based on the popular book series Elephant and Piggie by Mo Willems, Elephant and Piggie's "We are in a Play!" follows the adorable musical adventures of best friends Elephant Gerald and Piggie, appearing in the Margeson Theater from April 7 - May 7, 2016.

A female creative leadership team including Director Melissa Mason Braillard, Musical Director Megan Tsurumaki, and Choreographer Rachel Arnett lead Orlando Shakes production of Elephant and Piggie's "We are in a Play!" This production features actors Jacob Valleroy as Gerald (Elephant), Corynne Wagener as Piggie, Sarah Summerwell as Squirrelle, Kimmi Johnson as Dog/Squirrelle, and Austin Ryan Hunt as Penguin/Squirrelle.

Elephant and Piggie's "We are in a Play!" is presented by Orlando Magic.
