Orlando Repertory Theatre (The REP) presents Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer The Musical (November 9 - December 27, 2015. This production is presented by Orange County Arts and Cultural Affairs and supporting sponsor Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

The beloved classic Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer soars off the screen and onto the stage this holiday season. Come see all of your favorite characters from the special including Santa and Mrs. Claus, Hermey the Elf, the Abominable Snow Monster, Clarice, Yukon Cornelius, and, of course, Rudolph, as they come to life in Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer The Musical. It's an adventure that teaches us that what makes you different can be what makes you special. Don't miss this wonderful holiday tradition that speaks to the misfit in all of us.

"We are beyond excited to see this beloved classic come to life onstage and see the story we all know presented in a new, fresh way," says Artistic Director Jeff Revels. "Family traditions are the cornerstone of the holiday season, and seeing a live musical of the Rudolph legend is sure to create cherished memories."

Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer The Musical was first presented at The REP to great public and critical acclaim in 2013, and ranks as the theatre's second-highest selling production of all time (following Dr. Seuss's The Cat in the Hat in 2012).

This production is based on the animated television special "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer", and the stage production directed and conceived by Jeff Frank and First Stage. Script adaptation is by Robert Penola, and arrangements and orchestrations by Timothy Splain. First Stage scenic and puppet designs were by Brandon Kirkham. "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer", the animated television special, was adapted from a story by Robert L. May and the song by Johnny Marks with music and lyrics by Johnny Marks. Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer The Musical runs Saturdays and Sundays from November 9 - December 27, 2015 at 2pm and 5:30pm. Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for students, seniors (55+), and members of the military with valid ID, and $14 for the youth (ages 3 to 17).

The REP also offers special performances of Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer The Musical. Papa John's Pizza Family Night is November 15 at 5:30pm. Pizza is $2 per slice and is available for purchase before and after the performance. Guests have the option of ordering a full pie in the lobby before the performance and it will be available for pickup afterward. 20% of the proceeds for each purchase are donated back to The REP. A Sensory-Friendly presentation of Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer The Musical for children with autism, Asperger's, or other sensory processing disorders and special needs is November 22 at 5:30pm. There is also an ASL performance, translated by an American Sign Language Interpreter on November 23 at 10:30am. Backstage Tours are offered on November 28 and December 19 following the 5:30 performance. Tickets are $5 per person and space is limited, so make sure you reserve your spot early in advance at the box office!

The cast includes Griffin Bunch as Rudolph, Jared Warren as Hermey the Elf, Adam DelMedico as Yukon Cornelius, and Clifford Lyons as Sam the Snowman, with Cat Claus, Tristan Flournoy, Brady Foley, Jiselle Lee, Josh Lefkowitz, Kennedy Mason, Shawn Mindel, Justin Mousseau, Candace Neal, Carson Revels, Thomas Rivera, Kurt Roth, Kyle Stone, Noelle Sundrene, and Brennan-Pierson Wang.
