Montverde Academy's upper school presents "In the Heights," directed by Montverde Academy's Theatre Arts Director Roberta Emerson, running September 28-30.

In the Heights is a Tony Award-winning musical written and produced by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the man behind Hamilton. The story explores three days in the vibrant Latino neighborhood of Washington Heights in New York City. Life has always been a struggle in this "Barrio" but there's a change in the air as residents find themselves being priced out of their homes. The score features hip-hop, salsa, merengue, and soul music.

Performances run Thursday, September 28 - Saturday, September 30, 7 p.m. each night.
