Marshall Ellis Dance School in Orlando is launching even more classes for young children, with the goal of inspiring a love of performing arts in the early years. New miniME, tumbling and drama classes are geared for ages 4-12, and Mommy and Me classes are designed for 18 months and up.

New tumbling classes are now available on evenings and weekends. Former competitive gymnast and all-star cheerleader Kiara Loeser has joined ME Dance to launch this program, and all skill levels are welcome. Classes are available on a drop-in basis, and the cost is $15 a class. Packages are available at a discount.

ME Dance School now offers theater training for kids ages 5-12 through a partnership with Drama Kids International. With programs that are both educational and fun, Drama Kids helps students develop skills in collaboration, public speaking, creative thinking and more. In weekly classes, students will take part in improvisation, mini-scripts, theater games, creative movement and performances. Classes begin Oct. 4 and run through May 2018. They're offered on Wednesdays from 4-5 p.m. for ages 9-12, and from 5-6 p.m. for ages 5-8. Tuition is $55.

The brand-new miniME program launches the week of Oct. 2. The weekday program offers Mommy and Me classes for 18 months to 3 years of age, plus classes for young dancers ages 4-7. MiniME offers classes by local dance professionals in a fun atmosphere, with the goal of inspiring a love of the arts in young children. Registration is now open.

In addition to these new offerings, ME Dance School continues to offer a wide variety of drop-in classes each week, including ballet, tap, contemporary, lyrical, jazz, hip hop, aerial, yoga, Pilates, musical theater, and strength and conditioning.

Most classes are $10, and there are no contracts. Daytime, evening and Saturday classes are available. Aerial, tumbling and Pilates classes are $15 and are offered first-come, first-served.

Marshall Ellis founded ME Dance Company in 2012 and opened ME Dance School two years later. Its mission is to provide dancers with an environment in which to cultivate their talent and artistry to its fullest potential.

ME Dance School is located at 1300 La Quinta Drive in Orlando. Dancers of all ages and experience levels are welcome.
