Mad Cow Theatre has announced the cast for August: Osage County by Tracy Letts in The Harriett Theatre at Mad Cow's new home at 54 West Church Street.

There’s a funnel cloud over Oklahoma, coming your way. It’s American theatre’s newest twisted family, the Westons. In the eye of the storm are three damaged sisters, their pill-popping mother and a houseful of troubled relatives. Tagged byThe New York Times as “probably the most exciting new American play Broadway has seen in years,” Tracy Letts’ comic tragedy exposes the emotional destruction that rips through generations if nothing stops its path. This Pulitzer Prize winner is a domestic disaster that’s entertaining as all get-out.

Bobbie Bell (The Pitmen Painters) returns to the pasture to direct this amazing amazing cast, including Joe Reed (Twelve Angry Men) as Beverly Weston, Peg O'Keef (Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Next Fall) as Violet Weston, Riley Clermont as Charlie Aiken, Robin Olson (The Road to Mecca, Dancing at Lughnasa) as Mattie Fae Aiken, Tommy Keesling (The Pitmen Painters, Major Barbara) as Steve Heidenbrecht, Stephan Jones (Next to Normal, Eurydice) as Bill Fordham, Roger Scott (The Pitmen Painters) as Sheriff Deon Scott, Elizabeth Dean (Next Fall, The Constant Wife) as Barbara Fordham, Jenna Kirk as Ivy Weston, Ame Livingston (The Cradle Will Rock) as Karen Weston, Nicholas Parsons as Little Charlie Aiken, Gaia Nair as Johnna Monevta, and TiAnna Stevens as Jean Fordham.

Scenic Design is by Lisa Buck (The Road to Mecca). Lighting Design by John Hemphill (Next to Normal), Costume Design by Emily Smith (Sunday in the Park with George), and Sound Design by Boomer Bardo (The Road to Mecca).
