Joshua S. Roth Joins Cast of SLEEPING BEAUTY at Orlando Shakespeare Theater

Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF welcomes Joshua S. Roth to the cast of the ongoing production of Sleeping Beauty. Complete with a brave prince, a beautiful princess, and a magical kiss, this quirky retelling of Sleeping Beauty will introduce the classic fairy tale to a new generation of kids and families. This World Premiere adaptation is written by BranDon Roberts and runs through July 28, 2013 in the John and Rita Lowndes Shakespeare Center in Orlando's Loch Haven Cultural Park.

UCF BFA Musical Theatre graduate Joshua Roth will be joining the cast of Sleeping Beauty, taking over the role of King/Lester. Joshua's recent credits include How the Grinch Stole Christmas at Universal Studios Orlando, How to Succeed... with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, Spring Awakening, and Rent. New work/developmental credits include Sidekicks (Off-Broadway, New York Musical Theatre Festival 2012), Fosgate: Ferret Loan Officer (Orlando Fringe Festival 2012), and Suckers (Orlando Fringe Festival 2011). He can also be seen as a cast member at Universal Studios Orlando.
