'It's Improvised at the 129' Returns to Dragonfly Studio 129 with Sheryl Remekie Carbonell, John DiDonna, Tracy Frenkel, Beth Marshall, Rob Ward on Today  ImageFor the July edition of their monthly residency at the new Dragonfly Studio 129 (129 West McKey Street, Ocoee, FL 34761) in downtown Ocoee, Four First Names improv troupe will welcome some of Central Florida's favorite actors and directors to "It's Improvised at the 129" on Friday, July 27 at 8:00 p.m.

Four First Names' Richard Paul and Chris Barry will put Sheryl Remekie Carbonell, John DiDonna, Tracy Frenkel, Beth Marshall, and Rob Ward through their improv paces. Each of the acclaimed Orlando directors will be tasked with directing an impromptu scene made up entirely on the spot with Dragonfly Studio and Production's owner and executive producer Elaine Pechacek on the piano providing an original, improvised soundtrack.

After being away working on other projects in August, Four First Names will be back at Studio 129 with other guests and hilarious improv on September 14.


'It's Improvised at the 129' Returns to Dragonfly Studio 129 with Sheryl Remekie Carbonell, John DiDonna, Tracy Frenkel, Beth Marshall, Rob Ward on Today  ImageDragonfly Studios and Productions officially opened in downtown Ocoee in April 2017 as Pechacek's teaching studio and expanded next door in spring 2018 with the opening of Studio 129 (129 West McKey Street, Ocoee, FL 34761). The new studio will serve as both a second teaching studio, as well as the only public, commercial performance space in Ocoee.

Dragonfly Studio 129 is a charming, intimate performance venue that is fully convertible to fit the needs of any given production or event. Over the coming weeks, Pechacek­, who is also an award-winning composer, and producing artistic director Matt Tamanini will announce the venue's first full season of events, including additional residencies, concerts, cabarets, theatrical productions, readings, workshops, and more.
