Griffith Whitehurst, Robert Stack & More Join Cast of CABARET at The Abbey

Artful Events and Gen Y Productions has announced the full cast of the upcoming production of CABARET at The Abbey. Joining the previously announced Blue Star as Sally Bowles, will be Griffith Whitehurst (Freefall's Into The Woods) as the Emcee, Robert Stack (Spank! The Fifty Shades Parody at The Abbey) as Cliff, Rebecca Fisher (Lizzie) as Fraulein Schneider, and Doug Ba'aser as Herr Schultz. Alexander Mrazek (Garden Theatre's Sweeney Todd) will play Ernst Ludwig, with Natalie Doliner (Theatre Downtown's Sylvia) as Fraulein Kost, and Megan Boetto, Lauren Culver, Tymisha Harris, Adam Galarza, Eddie Zitka, and Daniel Longacre rounding out the ensemble. CABARET plays at The Abbey January 29 through February 8.

"The amount of talent that turned out to audition was incredible." says director Kenny Howard. "We are so fortunate to have such great local actors to choose and we've put together a cast that I feel is going to bring something very special to the production."

Tickets to CABARET at The Abbey are on sale now and can be purchased at www.TicketWeb.com. General admission tickets are $40. There are $70 tickets available that include an immersive pre-show prologue featuring heavy hors d'oeuvres and variety acts from the 1930s Weimer district, as well as a complimentary glass of champagne. VIP Experience tickets are $90 and include the full pre-show experience as well as reserved table seating for the show.

This production of CABARET is produced by Aaron Safer, Managing Member of Gen Y Productions, LLC, with direction by Kenny Howard, Artistic Director of Artful Events. Choreography is by Blue Star, with musical direction by John B. DeHaas, set design by Bonnie Sprung, lighting design by Roy Brown, and costume design by Kyla Swanberg.
