The Valentine's edition of It's Improvised at the 129! focuses on the theme of love as the Central Florida theater community explores the rewards and challenges of couples that are both performers. This month's special guests include couples Jamie and Daryl Black, Gina and John Hunter, Jodi Chase and John Pelky, Tiffany Anthony & Lucindo Teixeira, as well as Alexandra Love Sarton, owner of the COAL Space. Each of the couples have improvised and/or acted individually and together at such venues as SAK Comedy Lab, Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and at independent performance spaces throughout Central Florida. Alex Love Sarton also performs as an improviser and singer and leads meditation and enlightenment sessions focused on the beauty and love of life.
It's Improvised at the 129! is a monthly live improvised variety show that highlights an array of performing arts disciplines and each month features interviews, a round table discussion and performances by special guests ranging from well-known local and national talent to city and regional officials. The show is hosted by Four First Names, a duo comprised of Orlando improvisers Chris Barry and Richard Paul, and features musical director Elaine Pechacek.
