Mad Cow Theatre is delighted to announce the cast of David Hare's Skylight, a play about the state of the nation and matters of the heart, as two former lovers with differing political views are reunited years after their affair, begins performances in the Zehngebot-Stonerock Theatre June 22, 2017 as the eighth production of Mad Cow Theatre's Season 20.

A multiple award-winning British drama, Skylight frames the reeling aftermath of an extramarital May-December romance and its subsequent ripples, affecting everyone it touched. After their affair was exposed, feelings of betrayal, abandonment, and guilt sent lovers Kyra and Tom ricocheting in opposite directions, each brewing resentment and judgment of the other. Determined to resolve unanswered questions, Tom's son and Tom himself confront Kyra on her turf. Will the spark of their original passion rekindle? David Hare's brilliance is evident, as the Sunday Times notes, "what is happening on the stage is both thrilling and dangerous..."

The three-person cast of Skylight will introduce three new faces to Mad Cow's audiences. New York based actress Kelly Pekar* as Kyra Hollis, Orlando actor Zach Lane as Edward Sargent, and Jerome Davis* the founding artistic director of Burning Coal Theatre Company in North Carolina as Tom Sargent.

Director Bobbie Bell (The Brothers Size, Clybourne Park) returns to Mad Cow to helm Skylight. Scenic Design is by Alex Wittenberg (The God Game, Constellations), Lighting Design by Erin Miner (Picasso at the Lapine Agile, The Brothers Size), and Kelly Pekar also makes her design debut at Mad Cow as the Costume Designer for Skylight.
