Broadway's Rachel Potter to Headline Garden Theatre Gala, 3/1

The Garden Theatre (160 West Plant Street) has announced its premier fundraising gala, Garden Encore! on Saturday, March 1, 2014 presented by Orlando Health. The gala's featured entertainment will be country pop and Broadway star, Rachel Potter.

Garden Encore! serves dual purpose as the annual fundraiser for the Garden Theatre, as well as an opportunity to announce the upcoming 2014-2015 Live Season to sponsors, donors, and special guests. Last year's Garden Encore! gala raised over $26,000.

Headlining the evening will be an unforgettable performance by Broadway star Rachel Potter and her live band as she unveils music from an upcoming album and Broadway hits. Originally from Orlando, Rachel Potter is a Broadway star with country roots and one of the hottest upcoming talents in America. After starring as "Wednesday" in Broadway's The Addams Family and the "Mistress" in the Tony-nominated revival of Evita with Ricky Martin, Rachel has just released her debut solo album Live The Dream and currently resides in Nashville. Other Broadway credits include starring as "Glinda" in the national tour of Wicked. Most recently, Rachel was seen on FOX's The X Factor, where she wowed over 10 million viewers in the national spotlight. Garden Encore! offers patrons the one-of-a-kind opportunity to experience Rachel Potter in the intimacy of the Garden Theatre.

The evening will start with a high-level reception with patrons of the theatre and is catered by Stonewood Grill & Tavern.
