A legend in his own right, known for anthems such as "The Times They Are a-Changin," "Like a Rolling Stone," "Blowin' in the Wind" and "Knockin' on Heaven's Door," Dylan has been integral to popular culture for more than 50 years. With lyrics prone to social and political influence, his music styles run the gamut from folk, blues, country to quintessential rock and roll. Among his numerous awards and nominations, he has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and was awarded a special citation from the Pulitzer Prize jury in 2008 for his "profound impact on popular music and American culture, marked by lyrical compositions of extraordinary poetic power." He also received the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Obama in 2012.
Performing on guitar, keyboard and harmonica, Dylan will be backed by a full band to a one-night only engagement when he plays the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts this November.
