Bay Street Players will present the comedy Dearly Departed at the historic State Theatre in downtown Eustis, April 12 - May 5, 2013. Dearly Departed, a comedy by David Bottrell and Jessie Jones centers on the Turpin Family. When the patriarch of their family keels over dead in the opening scene, the family tries to plan the funeral, with sidesplitting results. Between the feuds, marital flings, and Macaroni and Ham Loaf Surprise - it may escalate into a multiple-coffin memorial service. By the time they sort through the hangovers, money problems, and headstone engraving options, they've learned that coping with life's losses can turn out to be drop-dead funny.

Dearly Departed is directed and designed by Lawrence Benjamin, with lighting design by William Dumas and costumes by Kate Olsen and Bonnie Swanson. It contains mild adult language and some sexual references and may not be suitable for young children.

Dates and times for Dearly Departed are as follows:
8:00pm - April 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 24, 25, 26, 27 / May 2, 3, 4
