Greater Orlando Actors Theatre in collaboration with Baggy Pants Theater is producing the critically acclaimed show The Elephant Man by Bernard Pomerance. The show will take place at the Lowndes Shakespeare Center in the Santos Dantin Studio Theater located 812 E. Rollins St Orlando, FL 32803. The show will run February 27 through March 8, 2015 on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 2pm.
The Elephant Man is based on the real life story of Joseph Merrick who is rescued from the freak show circuit by Dr. Frederick Treves, who is astonished by The Elephant Man's intelligence and sensitivity. The play explores many complex issues including what is normal and how each of us are on display.
