In this fun holiday treat for the entire family, nine-year-old Ralphie Parker spends most of the winter dodging a bully and dreaming of his ideal Christmas present: a genuine Red Ryder BB Gun. Often at odds with his cranky dad but comforted by his doting mother, Ralphie struggles to make it to Christmas Day with his hopes intact. Based on the humorous writing of Jean Shepherd and the motion picture of the same name, A Christmas Story is a classic holiday tradition for all ages.
Garden Theatre's production of A Christmas Story will star Timmy Walczak as The Old Man, Laura Mansoori as Mother, Brett Waldon as adult Ralph, Julie Snyder as (Miss) Shields, and Aidan Bangsund as Ralphie.
Autumn Rae Shannon, Parker Sims-Chin, Ryleigh Lawton, Jason Fernandez, JJ Humphrey, and Kenny Poole round out the talented cast of local talent.
Scenic Design by Timothy Dygert, Lighting Design by Bert Scott, Costume Design by Jolene Richardson, and Props Design by Sarah Allen will immerse the audience in the entertaining and humorous production.
