Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts announces a roster of upcoming shows confirmed, to date, for the 2017-2018 season. These newly added performances will join the previously announced FAIRWINDS Broadway in Orlando season, Orlando Ballet, Orlando Philharmonic and Opera Orlando's seasons, as well as Paramore, Sabrina Carpenter, Brian Regan and Jethro Tull, among others. Additionally, Dr. Phillips Center Florida Hospital School of the Arts continues its award-winning programming with the announcement of the 2017 Fall Semester classes. Registration for these classes is currently open. The School of the Arts uses the arts to its full benefit in the development of each student from 3 to 103. Performing arts training combines movement, language, music and making choices to develop a student's gross motor, fine motor and memory skills. New to the education offerings that include music, vocal and dance curriculum is Jazz at Lincoln Center's WeBop, presented as part of the arts center's mission to bring jazz initiatives to Central Florida.
Announcements regarding additional shows and spring classes for the 2017 - 2018 season are forthcoming.
