Step Afrika! will return to the Lied Center, presenting The Migration, a vibrant showcase of stepping, gospel music, and tap dance. Inspired by Jacob Lawrence’s The Migration Series, this performance chronicles the African American migration experience from the South to the North in the early 1900s. Audiences can expect an electrifying blend of footwork, body percussion, and powerful storytelling that honors this vital chapter in American history.
