The Omaha Community Playhouse (OCP) presents A Streetcar Named Desire tonight, April 27–May 27, 2012.
A Pulitzer Prize-winning tour de force, A Streetcar Named Desire is the story of Blanche DuBois, a fragile and neurotic woman on a desperate prowl for someplace in the world to call her own. A Streetcar Named Desire shows a turbulent confrontation between traditional values in the American South and the rough-edged, aggressive materialism of the new world. This devastating portrait of delusion and cruelty is one of Tennessee Williams' finest works. A classic staple in American theatre.
