LOVE, LOSS AND WHAT I WORE, running tonight, January 22, through February 14, 2016 in the Hawks Mainstage Theatre at the Omaha Community Playhouse, is an endearing and witty collection of stories shared by a cast of women sitting side by side, accompanied by illustrations from the original work.

The fabric of their tales of life's struggles and celebrations is woven with the common thread of the all-important outfits they wore for each occasion. This production is presented in its original and intended form of script-centered storytelling. Enjoy an evening of reliving poignant milestone memories and hilarious coming-of-age chronicles with this unique theatrical experience. This production contains strong language.

LOVE, LOSS AND WHAT I WORE is written by popular screenwriters and producers (and sisters) Nora and Delia Ephron, known for such hit movies as When Harry Met Sally, You've Got Mail, Sleepless in Seattle and Julie & Julia. The script is adapted from the book of the same name by Ilene Beckerman.

These collections of stories are presented in a reader's theater style. Five actresses sit on stools and read from the script. Each story is told from a different woman's point of view, sharing memories from childhood to adulthood and everything in between.

Directed by Amy Lane, the cast features Teri Fender, Sonia Keffer, Caitlin Mabon and Judy Radcliff in the ensemble and Charleen Willoughby as Gingy.
