Keith Hart to Join BLUEBARN Theatre as New Managing Director

Keith Hart will join the BLUEBARN Theatre staff as the company's new Managing Director on August 8th.

For the past four years Keith has held the position of Business/Grant Manager for The ARTery, now renamed Arts in Motion. Past positions include Education Coordinator for the Omaha Community Playhouse, Education & Development Director for United Methodist Ministries, and Arts Coordinator for the Kroc Center.

A former public school teacher, Keith holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Northwest Missouri State University and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Theatre from the University of Missouri - Kansas City. He has worked extensively as a freelance scene designer and music director for various area theatre companies, and has taught in the theatre department at Iowa Western Community College. Keith is also the piano accompanist for the River City Mixed Chorus.

The BLUEBARN Theatre has been bringing professionally-produced plays to area audiences since 1989. Since its inception, BLUEBARN has produced over 100 plays and has established itself as Omaha's professional Contemporary Theatre company.
