David Cross Comes To The Holland Performing Arts Center 4/26 Image

Omaha Performing Arts presents award winning comedian, David Cross, coming to the Holland Performing Arts Center Sunday August 26, 2018 at 8:00 PM.

Omaha is a stop on Cross' 46-city North American theater tour, "David Cross: Oh Come On," kicking off June 1 at The Chicago Theatre.

Tickets are $40.00 for the performance and go on sale at 10:00 AM Friday, April 27 at TicketOmaha.com, at the Ticket Omaha* Box Office inside the Holland Performing Arts Center, 1200 Douglas Street, or by calling (402) 345-0606.

Review: WAITRESS at Omaha Community Playhouse

One of my favorite pieces of musical theatre opened at the Omaha Community Playhouse on January 24th. WAITRESS, featuring the prodigious music and lyrics of Sara Bareilles and book by Jessie Nelson, was adapted from Adrienne Shelly’s 2007 film script of the same name. Shelly wrote, directed and co-starred in the film, but was murdered in 2006 when she was only 40 years old. Sadly, Shelly never saw the film which opened three months later.
