Bellevue Little Theatre, 203 W. Mission in Bellevue, will close its 45th season with 'The Fox on the Fairway', an adult farce by Ken Ludwig. The production will run for three week-ends, opening on May 23 and closing June 8, 2014.

This production is a typical farce which takes place during preparation for a golf tournament at a posh country club. The club's president is faced with an impossible situation when the golfer he expected to carry and win the tournament against a rival country club switches sides and leaves him in a pickle. His future, as well as a healthy bet, are riding on the outcome of the tournament. Not to be outdone, he substitutes a newly hired worker who is doing well until he is overtaken by events---and as is the case in classic farce, things go downhill from there.

Adult situations and language are present in this production, and it is not recommended for children.

This comedy will prepare the audience for a summer of fun, sun, and golf.

Julia Hinson is directing this production, with Curtis Leach serving as producer, and Wayne Matney as stage manager. Mark Ferrill is lighting designer, and Kyle Fitch is sound designer. Jack Hogston is in charge of set design and construction, and Cia Ashbrook is costumer. Pam Matney is sound technician, and Mark Ferrill is lighting technician.

Appearing in this production are:
Pamela - Jodi Bagley
Justin - Matt Karasek
Dickey - Tim Barr
Louise Kaitlin Maher
Bingham - Chris Scott
Muriel - Karin Hogston

It should also be noted that the Bellevue Little Theatre Thrift shop, located next door to the theatre is now open for shopping before performances.
