Bellevue Little Theatre to Hold Auditions for NUNSENSE A-MEN

Bellevue Little Theatre will hold auditions for the musical 'Nunsense A-Men' on Sunday and Monday, January 31 and February 1. Auditions will be held at Ralston High School 8969 Park Drive in Ralston, beginning at 7 pm. Please note the change of location. Rehearsals are tentatively scheduled to begin the week of Feb. 22.

Those auditioning are asked to bring a prepared song (accompanist provided) and to be ready to read from the script.

'Nunsense A-Men' will open on Friday April 8 and run for three week-ends, closing on Sunday April 24. Todd Uhrmacher will direct this musical which casts 5 men in the roles of the nuns. Jenna McKain is music director, and Robin Klusmire is producer.

A cast of 5 men is needed for this production.

'Nunsense A-Men!' is basically the original "Nunsense" show with all of the characters being portrayed by male musical comedy performers. Think of it as "Mrs. Doubtfire enters the Convent." Basically the men are dressed as nuns, performing the show as if they were women.
