Audition Notice Announced for Warpaint at the Shelterbelt Theatre

The Shelterbelt Theatre is pleased to announce open auditions for the original drama Warpaint by Michael Oatman and Benjamin Graber. This taut psychological drama centers around a professor and his student, dealing with dark obsession and sexual tension. 

Roles are available for:
Dell - white male, 40s-60s
Mia - African-American female, 20s-30s
Adrienne - white female, 40s-60s
Artie - white male, 40s-60s
Regina - (small role) prefer African-American or Hispanic female, 20s-30s
Leroi - African-American male, 20s-30s

The roles of Dell and Mia do involve partial nudity, which can be discussed at audition as there are many potential ways of staging that scene.

Open auditions will take place Monday and Tuesday, Feb 8 and 9 at 7 pm at the Shelterbelt Theatre, 3225 California, Omaha. Actors should bring an acting bio and headshot if possible. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Please email executive@shelterbelt.org if you have questions about the audition process.
