The Omaha Community Playhouse (OCP) will present A Night with the Family tonight, April 19-May 22, 2013. This is the world premiere of A Night with the Family.

Everyone's family is a little dysfunctional, especially around the holidays, but this one tops them all. A family of quirky characters will have you rolling with laughter - a hippie father who's addicted to fake swear words, an overbearing mother with her French-Canadian ballet-dancing fiancé, a coddled son and his massive panic attacks and a level-headed daughter who is trying to make sense of it all. Hilarious one-liners, comedic and loveable characters and ` uproariously funny situations make this one exhilarating night with the family.

A Night with the Family by Matthew Ivan Bennett will be directed by Carl Beck and features Nick Zadina, Dennis Collins, Suzanne Withem, Kim Jubenville and Mathew Pyle.

Show dates: Tonight, April 19-May 12, 2013; Wednesday-Saturday, 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, 2 p.m. Location: Omaha Community Playhouse, Howard and Rhonda Hawks Mainstage Theatre, 6915 Cass Street, Omaha, NE.

Tickets can be purchased at the OCP Box Office, by calling (402) 553-0800 or online at www.OmahaPlayhouse.org or www.TicketOmaha.com. Single tickets are $40 for adults, $24 for students. Group tickets are $29 for adults, $18 for students. On Wednesday, April 24, tickets are only $10 at the Box Office (cash or check only) for that evening's show.

The Omaha Community Playhouse is supported in part by the Nebraska Arts Council, the Nebraska Cultural Endowment and the Douglas County Board of Commissioners. Established in 1924, the Omaha Community Playhouse is the largest community theatre in the United States based on memberships sold and facility size, among other factors. The organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
