The 25th annual Rockin Rosie benefit "Rosie Rocks a Night in Monte Carlo," presented by the Rose Theater Guild, is The Rose's largest fundraising event.

This exciting adult-only event will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the Downtown Marriott in the Omaha Capitol District.

This year's Rockin' Rosie will feature a Monte Carlo theme where 400+ guests will travel to a glamorous and ritzy night of cocktails, dinner, dancing, raffle prizes and more! Attire is black tie optional and guests are encouraged to dress and accessorize with glitz and glam.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. Ticket prices are $150 per person. Tables of ten are available for purchase as well.

The mission of The Rose Theater is to enrich the lives of children and young people through live theater and arts education. The funds raised from Rockin' Rosie will support The Rose Theater's outreach programs for underserved children including classes, residencies, workshops and school field trips. The Rose is the leading provider of arts education in the metro area. The Theater's professional staff provides educational opportunities for over 27,000 children each year through its "Every Single Child" program, including school field trips, arts education workshops, and more.

"American Theatre magazine recently named The Rose among the 20 best theaters in America to take children to. With your help, The Rose will continue to be an artistic pacesetter, bringing magic and wonder to children's eyes," says Rose Guild member Kelly Rosenstock.

The Rose Theater is one of the largest and most accomplished children's theaters in the nation, with a reputation for enriching the lives of children and families through top-quality professional productions and arts education. In 2016, American Theatre magazine named The Rose one of the 20 top children's theaters in the United States. The Rose is committed to making the arts accessible to all children, providing opportunities for thousands of children throughout the community to attend shows and participate in classes each year. Over the course of a year, approximately 70,000 people attend the public performances held at the theater, and nearly 30,000 students attend field trip shows annually. The theater strives to introduce young people to a mix of both traditional favorites and ground-breaking original productions. A number of plays and musicals have made their world premiere on The Rose stage, including the stage adaptation of Prancer, Van Gogh & Me, Pete the Cat: The Musical, Sherlock Holmes & the First Baker Street Irregular, Zen Ties, Buffalo Bill's Cowboy Band, and The Grocer's Goblin & The Little Mermaid. We take pride knowing that The Rose is the place where children of all ages experience theater for the first time, and we are dedicated to helping them appreciate theater for a lifetime.
